&lt;p&gt;I have a Coolscan III, which is still working, but is sadly SCSI only. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;After six month's consideration, I have decided to get the &lt;amazon:B0001JZNDE&gt;Nikon Coolscan V&lt;/amazon&gt;. It does not look like there is much choice these days for film scanners, but from what I've seen the Nikon Coolscan range still rates highly.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Now that my &lt;a href="/articles/2005/07/30/bessa-r3a"&gt;Bessa R3A&lt;/a&gt; is finally back from repairs (11 weeks, including a trip back to Japan), and the sun is out, I hope to be posting more photos soon. &lt;/p&gt;</body>
