Tsunami Relief
As far as I know, no one I know has died in the disaster. A couple of close shaves, but thankfully they survived. My thoughts are with everyone who is still waiting for news, and those who have suffered.

Whew! I 'm glad no one you know was hurt, but I know that this does not lessen the pain and gravity of the situation. I know that a non-affilitated religious organization from Boone, NC was in Sumatra and I think, Sri Lanka on the 28th dispersing medicine, water and I hate to say, body bags. The group called the Three Forks Men's Association leave their families and jobs at the spur of a moment to go sites of hurricanes (common in NC) and 911 situations. This is their first tsunami. I am hoping to go in the next week to cover their efforts for our local news. Don't know if it will happen though...many, many strings. I am bummed by those who say that the US is not chipping in their fair share to this tragedy... most I know have donated something to the cause . Charity is charity... I am confused
I am glad you have no friends hurt from the disaster. It is hard enough to see all those people who have been devastated by the ordeal. It is too sad for words and in this day with our technology should have, could have been avoided. So sad.... Thank you for the charity links.
