Peep Show Series 2

Peep Show Series 2

We think it's very funny so do watch it if you're at all likely to agree. --- David Mitchell (Mark)

Dave just mailed a bunch of us to tell us Peep Show returns for a second series on Friday 12th November 2004 at 10pm on C4.

If you missed the first series (which you can get on DVD soon), it's a "narrative comedy show." You can hear what the characters are really thinking as they get into the most bizarre straits. Watch it!

David Mitchell emailed you, you received an email from God himself? I've stumbled across this, erm what is it, is it a blog? (It looks too nice to be a blog, but I'll call it one for the purpose of this comment) In an attempt to avoid revision I've decided to set up my own Peep Show website and I was just doing a bit of research for it, because there really is a lack of Peep Show related paraphernalia on the internet, so I am personally trying to rectify this, whilst also totally failing my first year at University. Anyway, I just thought I'd say hello to you, as you are like the pope being that you are David's representative on the internet. So hello, and goodbye

Fair play to you Hayley. There's a massive need for a peep show website. Can't wait to see it. "It's not piss"

I'm patiently waiting for S2 to come out on DVD. Great news about the new series. I expect it'll be just as good as the previous ones, but I'd probably leave it after that. Who knows when Series 2 is coming out? It's a must-buy! 'Blitzkrieg- I'm In The Ardennes!!'

Well, Mr.Corrigan, I've examined your application, and I've just got one thing to ask you.... are you a pathetic, worthless punk? Cos I'm gonna turn you down as if you were a hippie parasite....Then I'm gonna make you feel like you're a turkey-fucker! WHY? - Cos I'm the big man, and you're the shit-heel, right? ........ OR... I could treat Mr.Corrigan with the respect he deserves, and we'd BOTH be winners.... isn't that right Mark?...

HAHA nice to know there are people who think so highly of peepshow as me! i found this website when searching for a release date for series 2. its realy such a clever program not much can touch it. And just to say, you HAVE to watch it when stoned and a bit drunk, i did this the other day with my freind and when we were sober we both agree it was like absolutely nothing else we had experianced before you it was absolutely incredable i wont bother trying to describe it, that would be imposable, try it for your self. we were completely out of it. i watched it last night on my own when i was high (but not as high as last time, and not drunk) and it still had the peepshow magic but it wasnt as immense as last time (so smoke loads!) sorry i just felt i needed to share that! PS i think i am 50% of Jez and 50% of mark, which makes me like the program even better. I think when people can admit, most would see some pretty strong similarities hehe.

I am so over the moon that there's going to be a third series. Peep Show Rocks! "So I said to the man in the shop, 'have you got any Alpen?' and he said 'No'. So I said, 'Well are you going to be getting any in?' and he said he didn't know! I mean WHAT kind of a shop doesn't sell Alpen? "I have Alpen... if you wanted you could have some?" What are you doing? What about the poo???

Cant wait for the new series hope there's more comedy genius lines like this "I thought you liked pork" "It was a picnic! We had three flavours of crisp!" "I need a sandwich! I really need a sandwich!"

Whooooop! CAn't wait for Series2 DVD- I missed most of it due to... I don't know but it must have been important at the time. And great to hear about Series3- there simply isn't enough of Mitchell and Webb on TV- their radio show would transfer so well I'm sure! Quote of the day- I see you were lampooning me. It was a simple lampoon. Never has the word 'lampoon' been used so well!

Superhans is the understated hero of peep show, He has me on the floor with laughter! Hayley if you get that site going you know you've got to have a whole page devoted to Superhans! Ill be happy to help with any content. peace.

Peep Show series 2 on November 14th - its available t opre order online. Found the info as below... Fans of cult comedy favourite Peep Show can at long last catch up with the second series as it comes to DVD on November 14th RRP £19.99. The show stars Robert Webb (The Smoking Room) and David Mitchell (host of Faq U). The award winning comedy won the Golden Rose of Lucerne, and a BAFTA TV nomination in 2004. Peep Show follows the inner lives of two very ordinary weirdos – wannabe popstar Jeremy (Webb) and Mark (Mitchell) an old friend and flatmate who lives according to his no pain, no gain attitude to life. The lives and loves of this odd couple are told through their inner thoughts – whether they be dark, stupid or embarrassingly overblown. Mark continues to pine for Sophie, pushing her further towards the malevolent Jeff, with his bizarre behaviour and desperate penchant to hack into her email address. Meanwhile Jeremy falls head over heels for Nancy, an American girl on a mission to break every taboo known to man (or woman.) Directed by Tristam Shapeero (Smack the Pony, Green Wing, I’m Alan Partridge) and produced by Phil Clarke (Big Train, Brass Eye) Peep Show, is wonderfully written by Jesse Armstrong & Sam Bain (Smack the Pony) and has firmly secured its place in classic British comedies. DVD Extras include 3 audio commentaries over 3 different episodes featuring Robert Webb, David Mitchell, Jesse Armstrong, Sam Bain, Tristram Shapeero and Phil Clarke, Deleted Scenes, Behind-the-scenes feature & ‘Gog’s Film’.

Oh yes; I have been checking in Borders every month for the last year: Is series 2 out yet? Is it? No it's not. I even convinced myself I *had* series 2 on DVD and had lent it to someone but I couldn't remember who. Of course that was just my imagination, but I was starting to get angry at whoever it was I had given it to. I accused a couple of friends of not giving it back to me. Now I see there is a series 3 and 2 comes out on DVD at the same time! My cup has overflown.
