I suppose it was just a matter of time before the spammers moved in.
I have closed comments on older entries. I have also set up a cron job to close entries older than 10 days.
This is just an interim fix. I have an idea that I'm going to try out.

I have been doing an informal survey over here (Malaysia) and the overwhelming majority of people use water. In the UK I think that most people use paper. I would guess most people in the western world use paper, save France and their bidets.

This is actually a much cleaner solution, but I don't know how well the idea would hold up in colder climates. I have been attempting to follow this whilst over here. However, I usually end up just taking a shower.
I'm currently in Penang. My father was ill, so I came back to look after him. He is recovering now and seems to be much better.
Other than that, I have been eating far too much Chee Choong Fun (Penang style), walking up Penang Hill, and swimming. I cunningly managed to get sunburned whilst out swimming in the midday sun. I'm still quite itchy.
My internet access is a little patchy, so there will probably be a lack of entries until I return.
